A deck that focuses on Dragon-Type monsters, such as Dragon Rulers or Blue-Eyes White Dragon decks, would greatly benefit from using DNA Surgery. By turning all monsters on your side of the field into Dragon-Type, you can activate support cards that specifically boost or protect Dragon-Type monsters, increasing the overall synergy and power of your deck. However, if your deck doesn't heavily rely on Dragon-Type monsters or if there are better options available to achieve a similar effect, such as Dragon's Mirror for fusion summoning, then DNA Surgery may not see much play in that particular deck.
