A deck that heavily focuses on banishing cards from the field and graveyard, such as a Banish deck or a control-oriented deck, would benefit from using Gigantic Thundercross in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. However, there are better cards available that offer more versatile or powerful effects, such as Evenly Matched or Dimensional Barrier, which are commonly seen in competitive play. While Gigantic Thundercross has a unique banishing effect, its drawback of allowing the opponent to Special Summon a monster from their Deck may limit its usefulness in highly competitive environments.
