Roalesk, Apex Hybrid would be a great addition to a Simic-colored deck focused on +1/+1 counters and proliferate mechanics, as it provides a strong creature that can enhance other creatures and trigger multiple proliferate effects upon its death. However, there are potentially better cards for specific strategies, such as Prime Speaker Zegana for card draw or Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider for a more aggressive approach, depending on the deck's overall game plan. Roalesk should definitely see play in decks looking to capitalize on its abilities and synergies.

You don’t have to choose every permanent or player that has a counter, only the ones you want to add another counter to. Since “any number” includes zero, you don’t have to choose any permanents at all, and you don’t have to choose any players at all.
