This card, Lighten the Load, would benefit decks that focus on summoning high-level monsters quickly, such as Dragon or Blue-Eyes decks. However, there are better cards available, like Trade-In, which allows you to draw 2 cards by discarding a Level 8 monster. While Lighten the Load can be situationally useful, it may not see much play in competitive decks due to the existence of more efficient draw power cards.
