Ein Deck, das darauf abzielt, die artefaktbasierten Strategien der Gegner zu stören oder stark auf seine eigenen Artefakte angewiesen ist, würde von der Einbeziehung von Vandalblast profitieren. Während Vandalblast an sich eine starke Karte ist, bevorzugen einige Decks möglicherweise andere Optionen wie Shattering Spree oder By Force aufgrund ihrer Flexibilität oder Effizienz im Umgang mit mehreren Artefakten auf einmal. Dennoch kann Vandalblast eine wertvolle Ergänzung in Decks sein, die nach einem gezielten Artefaktentfernungszauber mit dem Potenzial für einen spielverändernden Ausbruch bei Überlastung suchen, was es zu einer würdigen Überlegung für das Spiel im richtigen Metagame macht.
