This card, Gev, Scaled Scorch, would be a great fit for a aggressive red-black deck focused on dealing damage quickly and efficiently. Its ability to pump up other creatures based on opponents losing life and its ability to deal damage when casting Lizard spells can synergize well with a strategy centered around fast creature deployment and direct damage. While there may be more powerful cards available, Gev, Scaled Scorch could definitely see play in the right deck that aims to apply pressure early and maintain board presence.
