A control deck that focuses on removing creatures and gaining card advantage would benefit from using Overwhelming Forces in Magic: the Gathering. While the card's high mana cost may be a drawback, its ability to wipe out all creatures controlled by a single opponent and draw cards for each creature destroyed can swing the game in your favor. However, there are arguably better options such as Damnation or Toxic Deluge, which offer similar board wipe effects at a lower mana cost, making them more efficient choices for competitive play.
