Dovin, Architect of Law would be a valuable addition to a control deck focused on stalling the opponent and gaining incremental advantages. While its abilities provide some utility, there are more powerful planeswalkers available in the format, such as Teferi, Time Raveler or Jace, the Mind Sculptor, which offer stronger control elements and card advantage. Dovin may not see much play in competitive decks due to its higher mana cost and relatively limited impact compared to other options available.
