Dwarven Catapult, Instant, designed by Jeff A. Menges first released in Nov, 1994 in the set Fallen Empires and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.70.
A deck that focuses on aggressive red strategies and creature removal would benefit from including Dwarven Catapult, as it provides a versatile and efficient way to deal damage to multiple creatures controlled by the opponent. While Dwarven Catapult can be effective in certain situations, there are potentially better options such as Pyroclasm or Anger of the Gods that offer more consistent and impactful board control, making it less likely for Dwarven Catapult to see significant play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks.

If the targeted opponent controls more than X creatures, no damage will be dealt to any of them.

Count the number of creatures on resolution of the spell and divide X by that number at that time. If the number of creatures changes before resolution, the damage done may be different than what you expected.
