While Head Games can be a powerful tool to disrupt the opponent's strategy by manipulating their hand, there are other cards like Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek that provide more immediate and targeted hand disruption. Head Games may not see as much play due to its high mana cost and potential inconsistency compared to more efficient options available in formats like Modern or Legacy.
