A deck centered around WIND attribute monsters, such as Harpies, Dragunity, or Blackwings, would benefit from using Rising Air Current to boost their ATK. However, there are better field spell cards available for specific archetypes, such as Harpie's Hunting Ground for Harpies or Simorgh, Bird of Sovereignty for Simorgh decks, making Rising Air Current less optimal for competitive play unless used in a more general WIND-based deck.
