A deck focused on sacrificing creatures and filling the graveyard would benefit from Shadows of the Past in Magic: the Gathering. However, there are potentially better cards for this strategy, such as Phyrexian Arena or Grave Pact, which offer more consistent card advantage or board control. Shadows of the Past could see play in a casual or budget deck, but in competitive settings, it may not be the optimal choice.
