A deck that focuses on drawing lots of cards and maintaining a large hand size would benefit most from using the Spellbook card in Magic: the Gathering. This card is particularly useful in decks that rely on card advantage and want to keep a high number of cards in hand for various strategies. While Spellbook is a unique card that can be powerful in the right deck, there are better alternatives such as Reliquary Tower which not only removes the maximum hand size restriction but also taps for mana. If multiple effects modify your hand size, apply them in timestamp order. For example, if you put Null Profusion (an enchantment that says your maximum hand size is two) onto the battlefield and then put Spellbook onto the battlefield, you’ll have no maximum hand size. However, if those permanents entered the battlefield in the opposite order, your maximum hand size would be two.
