Flow of Maggots, Creature — insect, designed by Ron Spencer first released in Jun, 1995 in the set Ice Age. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.83.
A deck focused on aggressive black strategies, such as a black aggro or black midrange deck, could benefit from using Flow of Maggots due to its ability to bypass non-Wall creature defenses and potentially deal damage each turn. However, there are likely better cards for maintaining board presence and aggression in Magic: the Gathering, such as efficient creatures like Vampire Nighthawk or Dread Wanderer. Flow of Maggots may not see much play in competitive decks, but it could still be an interesting inclusion in more casual or thematic builds.

Paying cumulative upkeep is always optional. If it’s not paid, the permanent with cumulative upkeep is sacrificed. Partial payments of the total cumulative upkeep cost can’t be made. For example, if a permanent with “cumulative upkeep ” has three age counters on it when its cumulative upkeep ability triggers, it gets another age counter and then its controller chooses to either pay or sacrifice the permanent.
