Imposter Shift, Continuous spell card, designed by Konami first released in Jun, 2026 in the set No set.

“Imposter Shift” would fit best in a column-control or zone-manipulation strategy—such as Mekk-Knight, Magical Musketeer, or certain control/stun builds—that naturally care about card placement and can consistently force opponents to activate targeted monster effects from awkward columns, while also benefiting from extra bodies for Link or Synchro plays via the GY-banishing Token effect (potentially useful in Psychic-focused or EARTH-based combo shells). However, it is highly conditional: it only interacts with monster effects that target and resolve while columns differ, and even then your opponent can simply banish a card from their GY to avoid negation, making it unreliable disruption in the modern game where GYs are resources. The Token effect is modest and slower than existing extenders like Emergency Teleport, Called by the Grave (for disruption), Infinite Impermanence (for negation), or even There Can Be Only One/Gozen Match in control decks, which provide more consistent impact
