This card would be a great addition to a white weenie or aggressive white deck, providing a resilient threat that is difficult to deal with efficiently. While Knight of the Holy Nimbus has its strengths, there are potentially better options like Mirran Crusader or Student of Warfare that offer more aggressive capabilities or protection. However, the Knight's unique abilities make it a solid choice for decks looking for a resilient and disruptive creature, making it a viable option for play in certain metagames.

After the last ability resolves, regeneration shields don’t apply if Knight of the Holy Nimbus would be destroyed for the remainder of the turn. This includes its own effect as well as regeneration shields from other sources.

The second ability essentially means that Knight of the Holy Nimbus always has a regeneration shield. It retains that shield even if it’s used.
