Generous Stray would be a great addition to a green-based deck that focuses on card advantage and early game board presence. While it provides a simple and efficient card draw effect, there are potentially better options like Elvish Visionary, which not only draws a card but also provides a body on the battlefield. However, Generous Stray could still see play in decks looking for additional card draw options, especially in limited formats where the card pool is more restricted.
