Lightsworn Aegis would be particularly beneficial in a Lightsworn deck, which typically focuses on swarming the field with Lightsworn monsters to mill cards and generate advantage. The ability to negate effects of multiple opponent's cards can provide crucial disruption, especially against combo-heavy decks. However, while it has its uses, there are arguably better options such as Solemn Judgment or Impermanence, which offer more versatile negation and can be used against a wider range of threats.
