This card, Dismantling Blow, would be beneficial in a control deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's artifacts or enchantments while gaining card advantage. However, there are better options such as Disenchant or Return to Nature that offer similar effects at a lower cost without the need for a kicker cost. Dismantling Blow could see play in specific metas where artifact and enchantment removal is crucial, but overall, there are more efficient choices available.

If the target artifact or enchantment is an illegal target by the time Dismantling Blow tries to resolve, the spell doesn’t resolve. You won’t draw two cards if it was kicked. If the target is legal but not destroyed (most likely because it has indestructible), you do draw two cards.
