This card would be beneficial in a green-white aggro deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly to play multiple forests and trigger the +1/+1 bonus for Prized Elephant. While it can be a decent addition to a casual deck, in competitive play, there are better options available such as Loxodon Smiter or Fleecemane Lion which offer more value and versatility. Overall, Prized Elephant may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its limited impact compared to other options available.
