A deck that focuses on EARTH attribute and Warrior type monsters would benefit from using Puppet Pawn due to its ability to search for Promotion and add EARTH Warrior monsters to hand. However, there are better cards with similar effects such as Reinforcement of the Army which can search for any Warrior monster from the deck without the restriction of once per turn. Puppet Pawn may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limitations compared to more versatile search cards available.
