Reservoir Walker would be a great fit in a deck focused on gaining life and utilizing energy counters for various effects. It could work well in a deck that aims to stall the game and gain incremental advantages over time. While Reservoir Walker offers a decent value with its life gain and energy counters, there may be more efficient cards available depending on the specific strategy of the deck, such as Glint-Sleeve Siphoner for card advantage or Rogue Refiner for energy generation and card draw. Ultimately, Reservoir Walker could see play in a casual or budget deck, but in more competitive environments, there are likely better options available.
