About Vile Requiem

Vile Requiem, Enchantment, designed by Carl Critchlow first released in Oct, 1998 in the set Urza's Saga and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 56.04.

Vile Requiem would be a strong addition to a control deck that focuses on removal and disruption, particularly against nonblack creature-heavy strategies. While it offers a powerful board wipe effect, its cost and requirement for verse counters may make it less efficient compared to other options like Damnation or Toxic Deluge, which offer similar effects at a lower cost. However, in a slower, grindy game plan, Vile Requiem could find a place as a versatile removal tool that can scale with the number of verse counters accumulated over time.
