However, there are better alternatives like Solemn Wishes or Solemn Judgment which provide similar benefits without the drawback of taking damage when removed from the field. Overall, Aegis of Gaia may not be the most optimal choice for competitive play unless specifically tailored to a strategy centered around life point manipulation.
