Ancient Silverback, Creature — ape, designed by Paolo Parente first released in Jun, 1999 in the set Urza's Destiny and was printed exactly in 7 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of NZ$ 0.61.
This card would be beneficial in a green-based midrange or control deck that focuses on creature resilience and board presence. While Ancient Silverback offers a solid regeneration ability, there are better options available such as Thrun, the Last Troll, which provides hexproof in addition to regeneration, making it a more versatile and powerful choice for similar decks. However, Ancient Silverback could still see play in budget or casual decks looking for a reliable creature that can survive removal spells.
