This card, Curtain of Light, would benefit a deck focused on controlling combat situations and drawing cards, such as a white weenie or aggro deck. While it can be situationally useful, there are likely better options available, such as Brave the Elements or Path to Exile, which offer more versatile and impactful effects. Overall, Curtain of Light may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its limited utility compared to other available options.
