Dragon Shield, Equip spell card, designed by Konami first released in Jun, 2022 in the set Judgment of the Light: Deluxe Edition. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of NZ$ 0.33.
A deck centered around Dragon-Type monsters, such as a Dragon Ruler or Blue-Eyes White Dragon deck, would greatly benefit from using Dragon Shield to protect their key monsters from destruction and prevent battle damage. While Dragon Shield is a solid defensive option, cards like Dragon Ravine or Return of the Dragon Lords might offer more versatile effects for Dragon decks, depending on the strategy. However, in a meta where destruction effects and battle damage are prevalent, Dragon Shield could definitely see play as a valuable protective measure for Dragon-Type monsters.
