A deck that benefits from Sacred Foundry is a red-white aggro or midrange deck that prioritizes having access to both red and white mana early in the game. This card is particularly useful in decks that rely on casting a variety of spells with different color requirements. While there are other dual lands that may be more efficient in certain situations, Sacred Foundry is a solid choice for decks that need consistent access to both red and white mana sources. Unlike most dual lands, this land has two basic land types. It’s not basic, so cards such as District Guide can’t find it, but it does have the appropriate land types for effects such as that of Drowned Catacomb (from the Ixalan set).
