This Krovikan Elementalist card would be a valuable addition to a deck focused on tempo and control strategies in Magic: The Gathering. Its ability to boost a creature's power and give it flying temporarily can be useful for both offensive and defensive maneuvers. However, in a competitive setting, there are more efficient cards available that offer similar effects without the drawback of sacrificing the creature, such as Stormchaser Mage.
