Parallax Nexus could be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's hand and board state. Other cards like Duress or Thoughtseize may offer more immediate and consistent hand disruption, making them better choices for competitive play. However, Parallax Nexus could still have niche applications in certain metagames or casual settings where its unique ability to exile cards and potentially reset the board could be advantageous.
