A deck focused on accumulating Fog Counters, such as a Cloudian deck, would benefit from using Diamond-Dust Cyclone to remove powerful monsters with multiple Fog Counters and draw cards in the process. However, there are better options like Raigeki or Dark Hole for monster removal in general, making Diamond-Dust Cyclone situational and not a top choice for competitive play unless Fog Counters become a prominent mechanic in the meta.
