This card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on creature combat and has a strategy to take advantage of the +1/+1 counters. Decks that rely on tribal synergies or creature-heavy strategies would benefit the most from Favored Enemy. While it has its niche uses, there are better cards for similar effects such as Fight cards like Prey Upon or cards that grant counters more consistently like Hardened Scales.
