Horn of Greed, Artifact, designed by Jeff Miracola first released in Mar, 1998 in the set Stronghold and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 148.49. It's a key card in 1 combos.
A deck that aims to ramp up quickly and play multiple lands per turn would greatly benefit from using Horn of Greed, such as a Landfall deck in Magic: The Gathering. However, there are better options like Azusa, Lost but Seeking or Oracle of Mul Daya that provide more consistent and powerful ramp effects. While Horn of Greed can be a fun and chaotic addition to a casual deck, it may not see much play in competitive settings due to its potential to benefit opponents as well.

Playing a land will trigger it, but putting a land onto the battlefield as part of an effect will not.
