A deck that focuses on aggressive plays and swarming the field with multiple monsters would benefit from using Max Warrior, as it can gain ATK during the Damage Step and potentially level up to a lower level with halved original stats after destroying an opponent's monster. However, there are more versatile and powerful Warrior monsters available in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG that offer better effects and synergy with popular archetypes, such as Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights or Elemental HERO Stratos. Max Warrior may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limitations and better alternatives in the current meta.
