A tribal deck with multiple creature types, such as a Sliver or Elf deck, would benefit from using Blades of Velis Vel as it can boost the power of up to two creatures and give them all creature types, potentially triggering various tribal synergies. However, there may be better cards for specific strategies, such as Metallic Mimic for +1/+1 counters or Adaptive Automaton for a permanent anthem effect. Blades of Velis Vel could see play in tribal decks looking for temporary boosts and additional creature types.
