Intercept, Counter trap card, designed by Konami first released in June 2022 in the set The Duelist Genesis: Special Edition. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.49.

Intercept is particularly beneficial in decks that focus on controlling the opponent's monsters, such as control or stun decks, where taking an opponent's Tribute Summoned monster can swing the game in your favor. However, there may be better options like Mind Control, which allows you to take control of a monster for a turn regardless of how it was summoned, or Change of Heart, which offers a similar effect but is limited by its ban status in most formats. Given the current meta and the prevalence of powerful Tribute Summoned monsters, Intercept can see play in niche strategies, but it may not be as versatile or impactful as other control options.
