However, there are better options available for similar strategies, such as Tarmogoyf, which has a more consistent power and toughness scaling based on card types in all graveyards, making it a more reliable choice for competitive play. Skyshroud War Beast may not see much play in highly competitive environments due to its reliance on the opponent's board state for effectiveness.
