A deck that focuses on card draw and benefits from symmetrical effects would likely benefit from including Howling Golem. However, there are better options available, such as Jace, Vryn's Prodigy, which offers card draw and additional utility. Howling Golem may not see much play in competitive decks due to its symmetrical effect potentially benefiting opponents more than the player using it.
