Ichor Explosion, Sorcery, designed by James Ryman first released in May, 2020 in the set New Phyrexia. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 6.11.
Ichor Explosion would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value, such as a black sacrifice deck or a deck that generates tokens to sacrifice. While it can be a powerful board wipe in the right situation, there are better options like Damnation or Toxic Deluge that offer more flexibility and efficiency. Ichor Explosion may not see much play in competitive decks due to its high cost and situational nature.

Players can only respond once this spell has been cast and all its costs have been paid. No one can try to destroy the creature you sacrificed to prevent you from casting this spell.
