This card, Prickle Fairy, would be a great addition to an Insect-type deck in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG, as it provides protection by preventing opponents from attacking Insect monsters and has a useful effect of changing battled monsters to Defense Position. However, a better alternative could be Gokipon, which not only searches for Insect monsters but also has a more versatile effect. Prickle Fairy could still see play in a deck focused on Insect monsters, especially if the strategy involves control and defense.
