This card would greatly benefit a Dragunity deck that focuses on swarming the field with Winged Beast-Type monsters and utilizing Dragon-Type monsters for additional effects. While Dragunity Primus Pilus is a strong card for its ability to equip a Dragon-Type monster from the deck, some players may prefer Dragunity Phalanx for its flexibility in the graveyard and ease of summoning. However, Dragunity Primus Pilus should definitely see play in a Dragunity deck for its synergy with the archetype and its potential to set up powerful plays.
