Metamorphosis, Sorcery, designed by Christopher Rush first released in Dec, 1993 in the set Arabian Nights and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 8.52.
This card could benefit a deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly and casting powerful creature spells. Decks that rely on high-cost creatures and have ways to generate additional creatures to sacrifice could make good use of Metamorphosis. However, there are other cards like Rampant Growth or Farseek that provide mana ramp without the need to sacrifice a creature, making them more efficient in certain situations. Whether Metamorphosis should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergy within a deck, as well as the overall card pool available for selection.
