Thrilling Encore is particularly beneficial in a reanimation or sacrifice-themed deck, especially one that utilizes cards that can generate value from sacrificing creatures or that can bring creatures back from the graveyard. Decks that focus on token generation or have high-impact creatures that can be sacrificed for value (like those in a Golgari or Aristocrats build) would benefit greatly from this card, as it allows for a sudden swing in board presence.
