Un mazo de control que tenga como objetivo interrumpir la presencia del oponente en el tablero y ralentizar las estrategias agresivas se beneficiaría al incluir Aetherspouts en su mazo. Si bien Aetherspouts puede ser efectivo en ciertas situaciones, existen opciones más eficientes como Cyclonic Rift que brindan un efecto similar a un costo menor y con más flexibilidad. Aetherspouts podría jugar en metajuegos específicos donde su capacidad para perturbar criaturas atacantes es particularmente valiosa, pero en general, hay mejores opciones disponibles para mazos de control.
