However, due to the heavy cost of losing 4000 Life Points if not Xyz Summoning that turn, it may be risky to include in a deck unless there are reliable ways to immediately Xyz Summon after using Message in a Bottle. Other cards like Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force could be considered as a better alternative for Xyz Summoning without the drawback of losing Life Points, making Message in a Bottle less favorable for competitive play.
