Un mazo de control en Magic: the Gathering se beneficiaría al incluir Desviación en su estrategia, ya que proporciona una forma versátil e inesperada de interrumpir el hechizo de un oponente. Aunque Desviación puede ser una herramienta poderosa en ciertas situaciones, existen opciones potencialmente mejores disponibles, como Fuerza de Voluntad, que ofrece una forma más flexible e incondicional de contrarrestar hechizos.
