While Skilled Dark Magician can be a useful tool for summoning Dark Magician, there are better options available in the current meta, such as Magician's Rod or Magician's Souls, which provide more consistent and powerful effects. Therefore, Skilled Dark Magician may not see much play in competitive decks, but could still be fun to experiment with in casual or themed decks.
