La carte Opal Palace est particulièrement bénéfique dans les decks Commander qui reposent sur le lancement de leur commandant plusieurs fois au cours du jeu, car elle permet de placer des marqueurs +1/+1 supplémentaires sur le commandant à chaque fois qu'il est lancé.
