About Barrier Wave

Barrier Wave would be particularly beneficial in a Synchro-based control deck that focuses on stalling and disrupting the opponent's plays, as it allows for both defense and counter-damage. Decks that incorporate high-DEF Synchro monsters, like those found in Gadget or Stun strategies, could maximize its effectiveness. However, there are arguably better options, such as Mirror Force or Dimensional Prison, which provide more versatile removal without the need for specific tributes.
