About Tongyo

Tongyo, Fish normal monster, designed by Konami first released in Jun, 2022 in the set Metal Raiders. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of NZ$ 0.45.

This Tongyo card would be beneficial in a water-themed deck that focuses on controlling the field by weakening the opponent's monsters. While Tongyo's effect of draining energy is interesting, there are more powerful water monsters in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG that offer better control or offensive capabilities, such as Abyss Soldier or Atlantean Dragoons. Tongyo may not see much play in competitive decks due to its relatively weak stats and limited effect compared to other water monsters available.
